Who we are
Our website address is https://insurancethatfits.com. Insurance That Fits was started as a sole proprietorship by Andrew F Bennett III in January of 2014. He initially focused on the sale of health insurance for those under the age of 65. Along the way different insurance and financial products were added to the selection including long-term care, life insurance, disability insurance, travel medical insurance, dental insurance, etc. In 2017 there was a shift in focus from the under 65 markets to working with people in Medicare (typically over 65 years old). In 2019 an LLC was formed (Bennett Family Enterprises LLC). We can still be reached at the phone number in the top left hand of the screen (865-712-5711), via a comment left on the website, or via email at Andrew@InsuranceThatFits.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We only collect the information you leave in our contact forms.
Please Note: Personal data is not just created by a user’s interactions with our site. Personal data is also generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third-party embeds.
By default, WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. However, some of our plugins may collect personal data.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We have two types of contact forms. One is a general form that you can use to send us general requests or questions. It only asks for your name, email address, and message. Our second form is a quote request for more information about Medicare, Dental, Cancer, or Funeral Expense Insurance. We download that information when it comes in and then delete it from the site. Off-line data is stored on an encrypted hard drive that requires two passwords and a special key to be inserted into a jump drive location on the computer. We take privacy and security seriously.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
Many web hosting accounts collect anonymous analytics data. You may also have installed a WordPress plugin that provides analytics services.
Who we share your data with
We do not share or sell data collected on our website with anyone other than agents of Insurance That Fits so that we can respond to your inquiries. In quoting policies we may need to enter some data about you into the website of our insurance carriers.
How long we retain your data
We download the information and questions you leave ASAP and then delete it from the site. Off-line data is stored on an encrypted hard drive that requires two passwords and a special key to be inserted into a jump drive location on the computer. We take privacy and security seriously.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
In order to comply with federal laws regarding Part D plans and/or Medicare Advantage Plans a compliance form (called a “Scope of Appointment) has to be completed by you the client and returned to us. Prior to that we do have a lot of educational content that will support your ability to decide which Medicare benefits you want to choose.
